Lets inspire each other

I may fall but I will never give up!

“What do you do when you fall? You try to get up? What if you fall again? You try again. What if you fall 100 times, would you give up? If you give up you will never be able to get up but when you try one more time, you may very well get up on your feet.” This is the message Nick Vujicic delivers around the world and not only does he preach this, he shows the crowd how to get up when you fall. For physically normal, this may not sound like much of an inspiration but Nick does not have arms and legs and he gets up by balancing his body against his head.

Nick was born without arms and legs (except for deformed legs which he refers to as ‘chicken drumsticks’) and no medical explanation about his condition. After joining the school, Nick felt that he was different and the kids at the school always reminded him of his disability. At one point, Nick wanted to end his life because of the pain that he was going through. Thanks to his mom, a nurse by profession, who showed him others who were going through more suffering than he was, this created hope in Nick and he understood that he was not the only one going through pain and that there are many others going through sufferings far worse than his. This understanding instilled great love for God in him. He started searching for his purpose.

Having experienced the struggle of being physically disabled, he was determined to help others like him. In helping others find their purpose irrespective of their physical/mental limitations Nick found his own purpose.

Nick Vujicic, found ‘Lifewithoutlimbs.org’, an organization dedicated to helping people with physical disabilities. Nick is now helping many like him worldwide to get on with life with a sense of purpose. Nick firmly believes that God has a plan for him and for everyone and the only way to find that plan is by believing Him with heart and soul.

Having traveled more than 14 countries, he has inspired the physically disabled to take their situation as a challenge to overcome rather than a limitation to be suffered.

Nick’s sense of humor is unparalleled. He humors about his own disability and does not like anyone to pity him. He challenges people that the agony and pain that they go through is more miserable than his disability. His pain of being physically challenged is far less than the pain they go through in their lives. His confidence, he claims, comes from his faith in God and His plans for him.

Nick’s heart fully believes that ‘God has plans for everyone’, something that we perceive as bad may be God’s calling onto some purpose that is beyond our perception at that moment but eventually we will understand his plans. As long as we keep faith in God and do what we set out to do, everything will turn out good.

Nick encourages everyone to find the purpose in their lives. Nick has found his purpose in encouraging millions around the world who are born with physical limitations.
