2     SLEEP Getting the right amount of sleep is healthy for our body and mind.

3     EXERCISE:  If you”r physically capable, try 1 hour of cardio atleast  instead of gym.

4     FORGIVENESS: When you forgive, you remove this weight off your shoulders and put yourself in a position to be happier.

5     FRIENDSHIPS:  Everyone wants to be heard, appreciated,and loved our life needs a support system and everything that matters and not hard to make friends if you put the time effort in.

6     READING:  Take a temporary leave from reality and bury yourself in one of yours favourite book.

7     HYDRATION:  This has always been my downfall;i don”t drink enough chances you don”t either.

8     GRATITUDE:  Complaining is a factor of  not just taking in to account what we”re grateful for.

9     SUNLIGHT:  Certain people have a disorder, in which, due to a lack of sunlight, they experience seasonal sadness.

10    JOURNAL:  You can write about what”s going on, and let your thought carry you through to a solution is the another way to overcome sadnes of depression.

ACCORDING TO THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO), DEPRESSION IS THE MOST COMMON ILLNESS WORLDWIDE. OVER 350 MILLION PEOPLE ARE AFFECTED BY DEPRESSION, GLOBALLY.

symptoms of depression can include:

reduce interest or pleasure in activities previously enjoyed, loss of sexual desire

unintentional weight loss (without dieting)

fatigue or loss of energy

 PHYSICAL SIGNS OF DEPRESSION

  • Headaches. These are fairly common in people with depression. If you already had migraine headaches, they may become worse if you’re depressed.
  • Back pain. If you already suffer with back pain, it may get worse if you become depressed.
  • Muscle aches and joint pain. Depression can make any kind of chronic pain worse.
  • Chest pain. Obviously, it’s very important to get chest pain checked out by an expert right away. It can be a sign of serious heart problems. But chest pain is also associated with depression.
  • Digestive problems. You might feel queasy or nauseous. You might have diarrhoea or become chronically constipated.
  • Exhaustion and fatigue. No matter how much you sleep, you may still feel tired or worn out. Getting out of the bed in the morning may seem very hard, even impossible.
  • Sleeping problems. Many people with depression can’t sleep well anymore. They wake up too early or can’t fall asleep when they go to bed. Others sleep much more than normal.
  • Change in appetite or weight. Some people with depression lose their appetite and lose weight. Others find they crave certain foods – like carbohydrates – and put on weight.
  • Dizziness or light head edness.

. psychotherapy-also known as talking therapies, such as congnitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

. drug treatment-antidepressants.
