A Little ‘FAITH’ is what it takes
In continuing our inspiring stories, we are going to look at a rather unusual and amazing story in this article. We believe that this is a demonstration of how a little hope and faith can work wonders in one’s recovery and I am not talking about self recovery but recovery of someone that means something to us. That is the reason prayers work, blessings are effective and that faith never fails. Well, we started by saying ‘unusual’, let me get to that point, everyone might have experienced the wonders of faith and magic of belief in their own life one way or the other, what is unusual about this story is that miracle happened here in case of a dog named ‘faith’ as a result of it’s owners little faith in her.

‘Faith’ was born as a deformed puppy and was rescued when faith was only 3 weeks old by Judy Stringfellow’s son Reuben. Apparently, faith’s mother was trying to kill the puppy because of its deformed limbs. After rescuing it Judy’s family adopted the deformed dog. Upon Doctor’s advise front two limbs were amputated. Judy’s family was even given advise of euthanizing the dog as it is ‘impossible’ for it to survive on just two limbs through out its life.
Judy’s family decided that they will train the dog to survive on its two limbs. From dragging to hopping to trying balance on its own limbs, Faith has come a long way to walk on its two limbs, just like a human. Faith never fails to amaze people on the streets who stand in awe to see this ‘impossible’ made ‘posslbe’.

When I first came across Faith’s story from a friend’s email, I thought this is one of those photoshop illusions. Then I researched about Faith’s story and came across how famous she already was. She was featured on Oprah show, Ripley’s Believe it or not and alike. In fact, Judy has written two books about Faith and its journey. This helped me conclude this was no illusion, Faith can actually walk on just two limbs. Amazing I thought.

If a little faith put in this dog can accomplish such a ‘feet’, imagine how our perseverance and positive attitude can change our lives. It is indeed an inspiring story about the perseverance and yet another marvelous example of ‘impossible’ turned to ‘possible’.
